Before You Get Started

There are several things that you should know before getting started with the credit repair process.   Take a moment to briefly look though these topics - especially the section on the Federal Trade Commission.   It's important that you know your all of your rights concerning your credit, what the FTC says about how to improve it - and how to protect yourself in the process.   You can access their website here: Federal Trade Commission

It may also be helpful to look through the sections about Credit Reports and Credit Scores (FICO).   Credit reports and scores can be very confusing. These sections will give you a fairly good understanding of what they are, how they work, and how they affect you in a BIG way.
